Our Mission

About Everyday Aquaponics

We help ordinary families grow fresh food at home — no science degree required.

Why We Built This

Everyday Aquaponics exists to help ordinary families grow fresh, healthy food at home — and break their dependence on grocery stores — without needing a science degree or a big backyard.

We got tired of aquaponics content that was either written for PhD researchers or full of vague advice that didn't actually help anyone build anything. So we started from scratch: real science, real expert knowledge, and plain English that your whole family can understand.

How We Evaluate Products

We don't just copy Amazon listings. Every product we recommend goes through our five-criteria framework:

  1. Does it actually work? We cross-reference manufacturer claims with peer-reviewed performance data where available.
  2. Is it appropriate for a family system? Commercial-scale equipment is overkill. We focus on what fits a home or backyard setup.
  3. What do real users say? We only cite Amazon reviews with 500+ verified purchases to filter out fake reviews.
  4. Is the value honest? We compare against alternatives at the same price point and say clearly when something is overpriced.
  5. Would we use it in our own system? If we wouldn't put it in our grow beds, we won't recommend it to yours.
